About this adventure

Scorpion Park Camp Away is one of the most relaxed and action-packed weekends on the SXS Club calendar. Set at a historic sand race track originally built for the legendary Thumbpump 300 ATV race, the weekend gives riders the freedom to hit the track and carve up sandy laps throughout the day with fellow members. Base camp is set up at the track, creating a classic camp-away atmosphere with night rides, campfires and plenty of time to enjoy the company of other SXS enthusiasts. With improving facilities and wide-open sandy terrain, Scorpion Park delivers an unforgettable weekend of riding and good times.

Friday

  • Event opens 12:00pm

  • Arrive and set up base camp

  • Sign in before unloading your buggy

  • Afternoon laps of the track

  • Evening social around camp

Saturday

  • Open riding on the sand race track

  • Riders can complete laps throughout the day

  • Must ride with at least one other buggy

  • Optional night rides

  • Campfire and social evening

Sunday

  • Morning rides if desired

  • Pack up and depart

  • Event closes 12:00pm

⚠️ No riding permitted outside official event hours.

APPROVED SXS VEHICLES

The clubs determination of a SxS vehicle is any SxS, UTV and Side-by-Side vehicle from the following list of accepted manufacturers:

  • Can-Am

  • Polaris

  • Yamaha

  • Honda

  • Kawasaki

  • CF Moto

  • Segway

  • Artict Cat

  • John Deere

  • Kubota

For all other SXS vehicles not listed, it must be first approved by the executive committee and added to the accepted manufacturers list. This is to ensure compliance with the clubs insurance policy.
