Experience one of the most iconic dune riding adventures on the SXS calendar with the Coorong Sand Dunes Camp Away. Set behind the stunning Coorong dunes in South Australia, this weekend brings members together for organised group rides across vast sand bowls by day and unforgettable night rides under the stars. With a structured, safety-focused format and a relaxed camp atmosphere, it’s the perfect blend of adrenaline, scenery and camaraderie — all shared with like-minded SXS enthusiasts.

Friday (April 17)

  • Event access opens 12:00pm

  • Set up base camp behind the dunes

  • Afternoon group ride(s)

  • Evening social / optional organised night ride

Saturday (April 18)

  • Organised group dune rides (day & optional night ride)

  • Lead & sweep riders allocated

  • Social campfire night

Sunday (April 19)

  • Morning ride (if scheduled)

  • Pack up

  • Event closes 12:00pm sharp

  • No riding permitted outside official times

 

⚠️ All riding must be in organised groups only (lead & sweep rider system).

APPROVED SXS VEHICLES

The clubs determination of a SxS vehicle is any SxS, UTV and Side-by-Side vehicle from the following list of accepted manufacturers:

  • Can-Am

  • Polaris

  • Yamaha

  • Honda

  • Kawasaki

  • CF Moto

  • Segway

  • Artict Cat

  • John Deere

  • Kubota

For all other SXS vehicles not listed, it must be first approved by the executive committee and added to the accepted manufacturers list. This is to ensure compliance with the clubs insurance policy.
